The National Skill Development Mission was approved by the Union Cabinet on 01.07.2015, and officially launched by the Hon’ble Prime Minister on 15.07.2015 on the occasion of World Youth Skills Day. The Mission has been developed to create convergence across sectors and States in terms of skill training activities.

Baglan Shaikshanik is empowering India’s youth through skill development. In 2019, a world-class training center was established at Satana (Nashik) under the DDU-GKY program. It has impacted 560+ BPL families by offering free training, education, and job placements. The mission is to uplift 1 lakh BPL families in the next 5 years.
